ROYAL JAIL (S. XVII)

Old civil building guarding in their prison cells part of the History of the City of Coria.

This prison building civil and baroque style was built by the architect Alonso Hernández Garrovillas in 1686 with funds from the City and his party, being rebuilt over other previous prison buildings by forcing the Catholic Monarchs in the early sixteenth century, extensive foundation in all the important places in the kingdom of Castile building Councils Houses and prisons own.
