ALHÓNIDGA (S. XVI-XX)

From old grain store to shelter of the reader within the City of Coria.

This storage building of Arab origin was part of own municipality to serve as deposit and sale of grain and other cereals. Since then, continuously, there is talk of their organization and service bordering on its right with the original Old Town Hall and opposite the Church of Santiago. Today it has undergone a total transformation conserving architectural remains of the old façade, and two vaulted rooms and a cute cistern, going to become Municipal Library.
