MUNICIPAL BUTCHERY (S. XVI-XIX)

Former municipal agency for the issue of meats within the City of Coria.

Old public institution that was run by the Consistory of the city itself, giving name to the street where it is located as this is the most prominent building, so its possible appearance, as its function, the rest of those in thereof. However, despite the various restorations that operated in the building with the passage of time, yet retains just above the large semicircular archway entrance carved in granite, the inscription refers to the process of its construction (1583).
